Our Physical Therapist
​
Peggy Ivan, PT, MSA, LMT
​
Peggy has been a physical therapist since 1989, after graduating from Grand Valley State University in physical therapy.
She performed general rehabilitation at St. Mary's in Saginaw, Michigan, in both in-patient and outpatient settings. Peggy then specialized in treatment on back and neck disorders at Michigan Spine and Rehabilitation Center. She has continued to expand her knowledge and experience in orthopedics and manual therapy, most recently at Renue Physical Therapy, then Covenant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Peggy received her Master of Science in Administration with an emphasis in Health Services, from CMU in 1994.

After becoming interested in manual therapy courses, especially myofascial release, Peggy pursued massage therapy. Peggy earned her certificate in massage therapy from Flint School of Therapeutic Massage in 1999.
​

Peggy became Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2004.
​

Peggy was also the coordinator and instructor of the massage therapy program at Delta College.

Our beginning
​
Body Mechanics Rehabilitation & Wellness, LLC was first established as Body Mechanics in 1997, to teach fitness exercises in the community. In 1999, Body Mechanics expanded to offer massage therapy and physical therapy services. The name changed to Body Mechanics Rehabilitation & Wellness, LLC.
​
As a contractor at The Dow Chemical Company until 2005, Body Mechanics Rehabilitation & Wellness, LLC helped develop and expand the on-site chair massage program to provide massages in over 12 buildings.
​
Body Mechanics Rehab Wellness has grown over the past 20 years but continues to provide personalized care in a relaxed setting.
