A customized program is designed for each patient to address limitations found during the initial evaluation.
Stabilization
Core stability is aimed at controlling the trunk muscles while performing other activities, often used in Pilates exercises.
Pelvic stability is used to control the position of the back and pelvis while exercising the arms and legs, and while doing activities throughout the day.
Posture
Postural exercises- these exercises address postural imbalances by educating and strengthening muscles needed to maintain proper posture. Also, patients are educated in the proper way to lift, bend and twist.
Scapular stability is used to support the shoulder while performing upper extremity activities. This is especially importe shoulder while performing upper extremity activities. This is especially important in rehabilitation of rotator cuff injuries.
